OVERVIEW
eATM tManager Enterprise Appliance Transaction Modules enable the connection of enterprise, business and plant computer systems with popular Rockwell Automation®, Siemens® and Schneider Electric® PLCs/PACs. They enable the exchange of plant floor data with JMS-based messaging services and databases without custom programming or the use of middleware software or a computer system.
Chassis and standalone modules both communicate to computer systems via Ethernet. The chassis mount module for ControlLogix PACs connects to other Allen-Bradley® PLCs via the backplane, Rockwell Automation bridge modules or EtherNet/IP. The standalone module connects Allen-Bradley® controllers by EtherNet/IP, Siemens controllers by Industrial Ethernet and to Schneider controllers by Modbus TCP.
eATM tManager includes comprehensive functionality in a compact, easy-to-use package. |

Fast and Easy…
First, choose from the many messaging or protocol computer adapters available, which are shown below. Next, install the eATM appliance in a ControlLogix PAC chassis or panel. Then, use the eATM software to drag and drop configurations – that’s all there is to it. No special languages to know, no special training required, and no enterprise drivers are required.
Secure…
The functionality of eATM appliances is totally independent of factory floor device operation. Operation can only be changed by authorized personnel using the eATM software tool. As an industrial product, eATM appliances have better security and reduced vulnerability to attack than PC-based options.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Packaged Solution
- Each eATM includes software and the hardware module
Configuration and Operation
- System Approach:
– Projects: Define one or many as a means of organization
– Triggers: Set based on time, value or event
– Store & Forward: Store data onboard if communications is lost to an adapter
– Failover: On loss of communication, an adapter would transmit its messages to
designated failover locations
- All configurations are stored in the appliance in onboard memory:
– Enables configurations to be imported, exported, backed up and restored, should the module
require replacement
